In 1956 the Whittles supplied all of the stone for the original Las Vegas Riviera Hotel and Casinio. This was the actual birth of Oakley Stone products on an international basis. Upon retirement the operation was passed to their daughter (LaRue) and son-in-law (James) Burch. In 1968 the company incorporated to form Oakley Valley Stone, Inc. By the late 1970's two of their sons were officially made officers of the corporation. Both had grownup in the company and were very familiar with the operation. In 2005 the company had grown to its present levels with products in all parts of the world.
